Why should I be a Christian?

Most people become a christian so they can have a better life? Or maybe church and Christianity is just a country club, or a place to hang out. Or maybe Jesus came to earth to save helpless man from their sins, could be? Romans 5:8 says But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But I think our average church member is just in it for what they can get out of it. Sad. Just ask Ronnie. why he goes to church... Gotta love his honesty.
